Midnight premiere question?

Its probably pretty stupid,but im still confused.If i want to see a midnight premiere of a movie that comes out July 15(harry potter and the deathly hollows part two) does that mean that on the night of July 14 it comes out at midnight,or on the night of July 15th it comes out at midnight
